Israeli troops were patrolling the Far’a refugee camp in the West Bank on Tuesday, February 11, as part of a military operation that had caused the displacement of a third of the camp’s residents, according to Palestinian news reports.Footage filmed by Quds News Network shows Israeli soldiers walking inside the camp, and a bulldozer and a military truck on site.Palestinian news agency Wafa said that Israeli troops demolished several buildings on Tuesday, on the 10th consecutive day of their operation in the camp.Wafa also said that water lines had been cut off throughout the camp, and that essential supplies had run out.The Far’a Camp Emergency Committee, quoted in Palestinian news reports, said around 3,000 people had to leave the camp and were displaced.Around 40,000 Palestinians have been displaced by the current Israeli operation in the West Bank, the United Nations said on February 10.Israeli forces launched Operation Iron Wall on January 21, starting “in Jenin camp and then expanded to Tulkarm, Nur Shams, and El Far’a camps,” the UN said.
