Firefighters in Boonville, Missouri, braved freezing temperatures to rescue a dog from a frozen pond on February 13.Boone, the dog, had walked onto the frozen pond and fell through thin ice approximately 25 feet from the shore, the Cooper County Fire Protection District told local media.The fire service said it took LT Tyson Fahrenbrink less than 20 minutes to save Boone, as he was trained in ice rescue operations.“About 3 weeks ago, we did some practice.
