A set of prop witch legs was spotted under a toppled carport in Scottsdale on Friday, September 6, signaling the start of spooky season in scorching-hot Arizona.Thomas Lancione, a resident in the area, captured this video and told Storyful his neighbors were making some good out of a bit of bad luck after the carport collapsed recently.“What a great attitude to have to give a smile to the neighbors in a bad situation,” Lancione said of the whimsical Wizard of Oz reference. While the Halloween spirit may have been visible, fall temperatures were nowhere in sight. Nearby Phoenix experienced a record-breaking 56 days of temperatures reaching over 110 degrees Fahrenheit as of Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. A high of 107-115 was expected on Friday, the weather service said. Credit: Thomas Lancione via Storyful
