Special weather statements were in effect for areas of central Iowa as early morning thunderstorms brought wind, hail, and lightning to the region on September 19, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.Footage taken by Justin Stork shows lightning illuminating the sky in Lytton, west of Sac City, early on Thursday morning.
