Dashcam footage captured the moment an inattentive driver caused a nine-vehicle crash on State Highway 74 near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, early on October 23.Footage released by Oklahoma Highway Patrol shows dashcam footage from a semi involved in the crash.In the footage, a white pickup swerves into the semi after misjudging the distance to and hitting a car in front of, ripping the semi’s passenger side wheel off and sending it careening into other waiting cars at an off-ramp.“The white pickup hits the SUV in front and then swerves over, hitting the semi, and ripping the semi’s passenger side wheel off so the semi driver had no steering,” the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.“We need drivers to pay attention and look down the road when driving. The pickup driver was not paying attention and didn’t brake in time for the stopped traffic. The semi and eight vehicles were involved in the crash.
