Protesters gathered in front of the house of Israeli politician Gideon Sa’ar in Tel Aviv on Monday, September 16, after reports that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was removing defense minister Yoav Gallant and appointing Sa’ar in his place.Footage filmed by X user @lirishavit shows protesters chanting and waving Israeli flags outside Sa’ar’s home in Tel Aviv. It also shows protesters marching in the city carrying yellow ribbons, the symbol of support for the Israeli hostages held in Gaza.According to the Times of Israel, relatives of hostages urged Sa’ar not to join Netanyahu’s adminstration, branding it a “hostage-abandoning government.”Sa’ar, a member of the National Unity party, is currently a figure of the political opposition.
