Satellite imagery from May 29 shows damage and missing tents at the Tel al-Sultan camp in Rafah, following a strike and fire that Palestinian authorities said killed at least 45 people.Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Daniel Hagari said that Israeli forces had carried out a strike that targeted two Hamas militants, and that it targeted “a closed structure, away from the tent area.”Hagari said the fire that tore through the camp could not have been ignited “by our munition alone,” and said the IDF is looking into possible causes behind the fire, “including the option that weapons stored in a compound next to our target, which we did not know of, may have ignited as a result of the strike."Other footage verified by Storyful shows charred vehicles and smoldering debris at the camp.
