A resident in Buffalo, New York, opened his garage door to a wall of snow on Thursday morning, as the National Weather Service (NWS) forecast up to 3 feet of accumulation in parts of Erie County.Footage from Bill Faust shows snow accumulating on Wednesday night in Buffalo, and the resulting wall of snow that had built up outside his house on Thursday morning.“Thy storm cometh,” Faust aptly captioned his footage of the snow falling.The NWS warned that gusty winds combined with the heavy snow would produce “near-whiteout conditions at times” for parts of Erie County on Thursday.“Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands,” the weather service said. “If traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.”A lake-effect snow warning would remain in place for Buffalo until Friday afternoon.
