US Ukraine and Russia envoy Keith Kellogg said it was nice to be in Kyiv “on the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine” as he arrived in Ukraine’s capital for talks with its president Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday, February 19.Speaking to media as he arrived in Kyiv, Kellogg said: “We understand the need for security guarantees. We understand… the importance of the sovereignty of this nation.”“A part of my mission is to sit and listen and see what your concerns are,” Kellogg said, with the aim to relay his findings to the White House.Kellogg is visiting Kyiv shortly after the US and Russian delegations held talks on ending the war in Saudi Arabia, without Ukraine’s participation.
