Snow and frigid temperatures hit communities in western North Carolina on Thursday, February 20.This footage posted by X user Timm Davis shows snow covering cars in a driveway in Yancey County, North Carolina, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Davis said it was six degrees Fahrenheit at the time.The National Weather Service issued a cold weather advisory for the area, warning of winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
