Heavy snow fell in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Northern California on Thursday, November 21, as an atmospheric river continued to impact the West Coast.Footage posted to X by UC Berkeley Central Sierra Snow Lab shows snow piled up at their base in Soda Springs, California, on Thursday morning. The lab said they recorded almost 20 inches of snowfall in the last 24 hours.Dangerous flooding for coastal parts of Northern California was possible on Thursday, the National Weather Service warned, while heavy snow was forecasted in mountainous areas of California and Oregon.
