The US Coast Guard (USCG) said it rescued four people after their 28-foot catamaran capsized off the coast of Alabama’s Dauphin Island on Thursday, May 30.Several helicopter crews were already airborne for training when they were deployed to help rescue the boaters, who were reportedly in the water with no personal flotation devices, the coast guard said in a press release.All four boaters were rescued and were uninjured, the USCG said.Footage from the coast guard shows crews hoisting the stranded boaters up into a helicopter.
