The Minnesota National Guard were deployed to assist with flood-relief efforts in Waterville, Minnesota, after several inches of rainfall brought catastrophic flooding to parts of the state.The Minnesota National Guard said 44 soldiers assisted city workers in manning water pumps after floodwaters rose and filled the sewer system.“Service members worked in shifts, ensuring the pumps ran smoothly and remained fueled and in operation,” the National Guard said.Video captured on Monday, June 24, shows a service member operating a boat in high floodwaters, while others can be seen filling pumps with gas.
