Snow was accumulating in the Atlanta area on January 10, as the National Weather Service warned a winter storm was in store for parts of Georgia heading into the weekend.Footage recorded by David Clinch in the Atlanta suburb of Dunwoody shows what he said was about 2 inches of snow accumulated on his deck and in his yard.“Still coming down … Ice comes in later and that’s when we could have #snowmageddon2025,” Clinch told Storyful.The NWS issued a winter storm warning for the area, saying that they were becoming “increasingly concerned with the potential for damaging freezing rain accumulation”.The Atlanta Journal-Constitution said hundreds of flights were cancelled, and power outages were being reported.
