A wildfire broke out close to resorts in Selcuk, Turkey, with flames visible on the mountainside, footage posted on Saturday, June 29, showed.Video footage showed flames and a large cloud of smoke visible from the Palm Wings resort on the Aegean coast. At night the flames could be seen burning on the hillside from the beach below.The source, who wanted to remain anonymous, told Storyful that guests were evacuated onto the beach in front of the hotel.On Sunday, Turkey’s Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli said the fire in Selcuk was brought under control.A number of other wildfires were reported to have broken out in the regions of Izmir, Aydin, and Balikesir.
