A wildfire resulted in evacuation orders and road closures in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Thursday, September 12, police said.The Gate fire, which was initially called the Sand Hills fire, broke out close to a residential area on Thursday. Footage from the Scottsdale Fire Department shows the fast-moving fire burning close to several homes.According to the Scottsdale Police Department, all buildings in the neighborhood were evacuated, and road closures were implemented to ensure residents’ safety.More than 150 firefighters were employed to contain the 100-acre blaze, the Scottsdale Fire Department said.
