A highly venomous brown snake was not something staff at a Perth restaurant were expecting to deal with recently, with its appearance leaving them “petrified” according to the catcher called in to deal with the out-of-place reptile.Adam Firstenberg of Perth Hills Reptile Removal, who is seen in the video capturing the snake, told local media that almost always he’s asked to take care of snakes that turn up in homes and gardens, not in busy shopping malls.Firstenberg said the eatery’s staff “had done a great job of keeping an eye on the snake”, and it was taking refuge behind some boxes when he found it.“A snake inside this shopping centre is a very rare occurrence,” Firstenberg wrote on Facebook. “A huge surprise it even happened in the first place!” Credit: Adam Firstenberg via Storyful
