The Minnesota Department of Public Safety advises driver to stay in their vehicles “until help arrives after a crash”. But as highway footage from a recent incident shows, that might not always be a very pleasant experience.Footage from a Minnesota Department of Transportation camera shows a pickup stalled in the middle of a road, with trucks swerving in both directions to avoid it. After the pickup is clipped and spun by one of the trucks, the three occupants make a run for it to the side of the road.While escaping such a scary situation seems a natural thing to do, the Minnesota State Patrol echoed the department of public safety, advising that drivers should “stay in [their] vehicle and buckled up” if not able to move it somewhere safe.
