Hurricane Beryl moved over Jamaica as a Category 4 storm on Wednesday, July 3, according to the National Hurricane Center.Satellite imagery posted by the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere shows the hurricane on Wednesday evening as it moved across the Caribbean Sea and approached Jamaica.Social media footage from Wednesday evening showed strong winds sending debris flying as the hurricane passed Jamaica.The hurricane was expected to pass near the Cayman Islands on Thursday morning.
