An inmate teared up during his graduation at a vocational training centre in Tampa, Florida, on Monday, December 16.Footage released by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) shows the graduation ceremony as well as part of the speech by Sheriff Chad Chronister.“You guys had to take the biggest leap - that leap of faith. That real fortitude and strength. Saying, hey, I’m ready to do something different,” Chronister told the graduates.The HCSO said that 50 inmates graduated on Monday.The New Beginnings Julianne M Holt Vocational Center was inaugurated in May of this year as a training facility for inmates “to learn trades such as ironworking, electrical work, welding, carpentry, and heavy equipment operation.” Credit: HCSO via Storyful
