French 'Spider-Man' climbs skyscraper for climate

Climber Alain Robert took 50 minutes to reach the top of the 160-metre (520 feet) skyscraper at the La Defense business district. The climb comes five weeks before the U.N. COP26 summit in Glasgow, which aims to secure more ambitious climate action from world leaders to drastically cut the greenhouse gas emissions heating the planet."I would like for governments of the whole world to hear this message and invest more effort to fight climate change, seeing that up to now, we have the impression that it's just a filler topic," Robert said.Robert, 60, in early September also completed a climb of the façade of the Total Energies tower in La Defense, which rises at 187 metres (613 feet).
