A four-year-old Virginia boy recovering from cancer got a birthday surprise on September 11 from a voice actor who portrays the boy’s favorite Autobot, Bumblebee, in the animated series “Transformers: Cyberverse,” local media

WJLA the boy was sick for all of his previous birthdays, so they wanted his fourth birthday to be special.In August, his parents began planning for a motorcade of yellow vehicles – Bumblebee’s signature color – to surprise Weinburger on his way to school.Soon after reports of the parents’ plans, Bumblebee voice actor Jeremy Levy
reached out to local media on Twitter to get in contact with the boy. Levy voices Bumblebee in “Transformers: Cyberverse,” an animated TV show that chronicles Bumblebee’s adventures.This video, posted on Levy’s Twitter on September 11, shows him speaking with Weinburger and wishing the boy a happy birthday.“I would love to come to your house tomorrow, but I’m on Cybertron right now – I’m fighting Megatron,” Levy says to the boy, later adding that Weinburger was his “hero.”Drivers from New York, West Virginia, and DC all convened in Alexandria, Virginia, with their yellow cars to surprise Weinburger on his birthday, local media
