A Cambridge driver arrested after being caught snorting cocaine twice on CCTV has been given a suspended prison sentence, police
said on December 2.Cambridgeshire Police released this footage from August 10 showing 22-year-old Samuel Batters snorting cocaine before driving away.CCTV operators alerted police, who attempted to stop Batters before he sped away and “collided with numerous parked cars and fences while appearing to stop a further three times.”Police said Batters “tested positive for cocaine and cannabis on a drug swipe and gave a roadside breath sample of 74, more than twice the legal limit of 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath.”He was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for two years.
