A dog in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, was lucky to have the help of two police officers after his head got stuck in a plastic treat jar on Monday, February 17.Footage from the Whitefish Bay Police Department shows two concerned dog owners arriving at the station with an unusual request: could the police free their dog from the plastic jar on his head?Murphy the dog was trying to get the last Milk Bone when his head got stuck, and despite their best efforts and an attempted trip to the vet, his owners could not get the jar off.Luckily for Murphy, officers Potthast and Streeter were on hand to chop away at the plastic jar, eventually setting Murphy free.Murphy went home with a scratch on his ear and a lesson in controlling his impulses.
