The roof of a firehouse in Barneveld, New York, collapsed under the weight of heavy snow on Saturday, February 22, footage shows.No one was injured in the incident, according to the fire chief via local media.It was not the only building that suffered damage in central New York due to a buildup of lake-effect snow, according to verified reports.This video was captured by a security camera at Beaver Meadow Veterinary Clinic Saturday afternoon.Firefighters had heard “popping” noises and, after discovering structural damage, were able to remove equipment before the building was deemed too unsafe to continue, the department said.“Please rest assured that the members of the Barneveld Vol Fire Department are ready to respond just like we always have since 1838,” the department wrote on Facebook.
