Newly released footage shows the moment a tractor-trailer driver plowed into a New York State (NYS) Thruway Authority attenuator truck on Interstate 190 in Buffalo on November 19.The NYS Thruway Authority posted the footage to social media with the plea, “Slow down and move over - our lives are in your hands.”Footage shows two views of the moment the tractor-trailer sideswiped the thruway authority vehicle, the truck driver failing to move over “despite passing two thruway vehicles and signs warning of the work zone and lane closure ahead.”“Luckily” no injuries were reported, the state said.“There is no excuse. When you see flashing lights, work zone signs or reflective gear - SLOW DOWN and MOVE OVER if safe. Lives depend on it,” the thruway authority wrote on Facebook.
