A wildfire burning near Yosemite National Park in northern California triggered evacuation orders on Thursday, July 4, as scorching temperatures continued in the region.Footage shot by Steve Aitchison shows views of the French Fire as seen from Maricopa on Thursday evening.By Friday morning, the fire burned 843 acres and was just 5-percent contained, according to CAL Fire.An excessive heat warning was in effect for the region until the following Thursday.
