Tropical Storm Philippe Expected to Impact Antigua and Barbuda

Tropical Storm Philippe was expected to drift north away from the Leeward Islands on Monday night, October 2, but tropical storm conditions were still expected to reach Antigua and Barbuda, the United States’ National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.This timelapse satellite imagery depicts the storm east of the Caribbean Sea over a 45-hour period from 2 pm Saturday to 11 am Monday, according to timestamps.The NHC said heavy rain and flash flooding could impact Antigua and Barbuda as Philippe tracks northeast of the island nation through Monday and Tuesday.
