The UK's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has successfully completed trials using robot dogs to defuse bombs. The Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) trials took place over four days and saw the robotic systems successfully detect and defuse explosive threats, as well as demonstrating their ability to navigate stairs and open doors.
