An Independence Day fireworks show in central Texas was disrupted on the night of July 3, after two grass fires broke out in the area, local media
reported.According to the report, a fire erupted about a minute into the
WesTex Connect Fireworks Spectacular in Abilene which temporarily halted the show. Several minutes later, “the glow of a second, larger grass fire” was visible and ended the fireworks event.Early Thursday, Abilene Fire Department
