Photos taken at Florida’s Tampa International Airport (TPA) on Thursday, October 10, show a damaged hangar and flooded roadways after Hurricane Milton made landfall Wednesday night, bringing dangerous winds and rain to the region.TPA officials said they planned to reopen the airport later on Thursday after assessing conditions on the airfield and around the airport’s 3,300-acre campus.“These safety checks and damage evaluations are being conducted in close coordination with airport partners, including the TSA and FAA, and will take time,” they said.
