A Japan Airlines aircraft taxiing at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) appeared to have struck the tail of a stationary Delta Air Lines plane on Wednesday, February 5, according to airport authorities.The SEA statement noted that there was minimal disruption to airport operations, as the incident occurred on a taxi lane.Footage shared by X user @FelipeLeos shows the Japan Airlines plane, with the Delta aircraft visible behind it.In a statement to KING News, Delta said: “While in sequence for deicing, the tail of a Delta 737 aircraft reportedly made contact with a wing tip of another airline’s aircraft. There are no reports of injuries for crew or customers on the flight, and we apologize for the experience and delay in travels.”There were no reports of injuries, according to SEA airport and Delta airlines.The Federal Aviation Administration said that some flights were temporarily paused as a result of the incident.
