A man has been jailed after deliberately driving a van at two police vehicles during a pursuit near Faversham on September 23, Kent Police said.According to police, 31-year-old Frazer Higgins was requested to stop on the M2 motorway after being suspected of illegally driving a flatbed van. A police officer on a motorbike pursued Higgins after he did not stop.Footage shows that during the pursuit, Higgins reversed his van at speed, causing it to collide with the police motorbike. The officer jumped off his bike and ducked into some bushes to avoid the collision.Police said Higgins later reversed into a patrol car, causing significant damage.Higgins abandoned his vehicle near a residential property to flee on foot, and was subsequently arrested in Faversham.On January 22, Higgins was jailed for two and a half years after pleading guilty to dangerous driving and other driving offences.
