Police in Michigan used thermal imaging and a K9 dog to track down a driver who fled the scene of a car crash last week.On Thursday, February 20, police were called to the scene of a car crash in Grand Traverse County, where one of the drivers had run away, according to
local news.The driver was a 52-year-old man who had several outstanding warrants, according to the Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office.To catch the man, the sheriff’s office set up a perimeter and used a thermal-imaging drone, as well as a K9 named Thor.The dog found a backpack with “several ounces of drugs and two firearms” that had been hidden in the snow, according to the sheriff’s office.“The male was arrested on several fresh felony charges as well as several outstanding warrants,” the Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office said.
