Princess Kate announced she had cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy in a video posted to social media on Friday, March 22.In the video, Kate says she underwent an abominable surgery in January and tests after the operation revealed that cancer was present and she was advised to begin early stages of preventative chemotherapy.“This came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family,” Kate says.“I am getting stronger every day, by focusing on the things that will help me heal in my mind, body and spirits,” she continues, before adding that her family now required “time, space and privacy” while she completes her treatment.
