French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal was caught showing a puppy photo to colleagues in parliament while an opposition politician was speaking, as Attal faced his first first no-confidence motion on February 5.Footage from the National Assembly, the lower house of parliament, shows Attal showing phone to fellow politicians as Socialist MP Boris Vallaud is speaking, leading the MP to exclaim: “And he’s still looking at his phone, making you all the afflicted witnesses of how little interest the government and the prime minister show the opposition and parliamentary debate.”It was later revealed in a photo taken by the Hans Lucas agency that Attal was showing a photo of a puppy to Rachida Dati, Prisca Thevenot and Marie Lebec.
