People gathered at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC, to celebrate US President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday, January 20, footage shows.This footage filmed and posted to X by Brendan Gutenschwager shows a large crowd of Trump supporters gathered both inside and outside Capital One Arena to watch a broadcast of Trump’s inauguration ceremony on Monday.Footage shows the crowd singing “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye” at Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff, and booing Mike Pence when they appeared on-screen during the livestream.The crowd could be heard chanting “USA!” when Trump entered the Capitol Rotunda and cheering as he took the oath of office.The ceremony was moved indoors to the Rotunda due to freezing temperatures in Washington on Monday. Some spectators were diverted to Capitol One Arena, where the parade would take place and a broadcast of the ceremony would be available, but the venue would only be able to accommodate around 20,000 of the 200,000 expected, according to reports.
