Two experienced US climbers and one Canadian mountaineer have been missing in the New Zealand Alps since Monday. The trio had planned to climb the 12,218-foot-high mountain known as Aoraki or Mount Cook. The men then failed to show up for their scheduled return flight. A search and rescue operation is underway.
