An Argentinian environmental conservation group has hailed as a positive indication for the health of a forest preserve in the country’s northwest the appearance on trail cameras of three jaguars. The three were captured by photosensitive cameras in the 100,000 hectares of native forests that are preserved by Ledesma, a major Argentinian agro-industrial company.Jaguars are considered endangered in Argentina, where their traditional habitat range has shrunken by 95 percent. Around 300 remain in the wild, according to government figures. Credit: Fundacion Proyungas/Ledesma Argentina via Storyful
