Rare Pink Elephant Calf Plays by Waterhole

A rare pink albino elephant calf was recently spotted playing by a waterhole in South Africa’s Kruger National Park.Theo Potgieter, a tour operator working mainly in Kruger National Park, caught the adorable moment on camera during a visit to the park. In the video, the calf can be seen hanging out with his herd and rolling itself in a waterhole.“I noticed some different coloration among the young [elephants],” Potgieter told Storyful. “I decided to grab my camera to get a better idea of what we were looking at. What a surprise to get out of the harsh glare & see this special little guy.”“The whole group seemed very relaxed, tolerating all the young. Interesting to witness was that this young male associated with various calves his size & no sign of rejection whatsoever,” Potgieter said.In a later post, the tour guide shared a few closeups of the adorable experience.
