Madame Tussauds Pranks Visitors With Real Hand Hidden Among Wax Limbs
Unsuspecting visitors to Madame Tussauds in Sydney, Australia, were spooked when a real hand reached out to grab them from a pot of wax limbs.A wax sculpture of Australian celebrity chef Curtis Stone was dressed as a vampire for the occasion and his usual culinary delights were swapped for a Halloween stew of wax brains, hands, and eyeballs.A staff member from Madame Tussauds, Michelle Nicolaou, was positioned under the chef’s table with her hand protruding from the pot, being fed instructions through an earpiece to prank guests.“I loved hearing guests scream and jumping back, only to then step back in curiosity and interact with my hand,” Nicolaou said. “I even had a bone tug of war with one guest.”A victim of the prank, Sacha Damiano, said, “All the wax hands looked so real. My heart skipped a beat when one of them moved, and eyeballs and brains came flying out of the cooking pot.” Credit: Madame Tussauds via Storyful
