The Chattanooga Fire Department (CFD) said two people were “very lucky” to be alive after surviving a plane crash near the city’s airport on Tuesday evening, November 19.When the fire department arrived they found one person out of the plane. The other had to be extricated by firefighters, CFD said.Both were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.Local media reported that the plane’s engine went out and it went down half a mile from the airport runway.
