A cargo ship that became wedged in the River Nene near Wisbech, UK, was freed on Tuesday evening, June 25, local media reported.The Baltic Arrow became wedged due to low water levels on Tuesday morning, local media reported.Attempts were made to free the ship throughout the day, as seen in footage recorded by Graham Cooke.However, authorities had to wait until evening to use make use of the high water to free the 80-meter vessel.A Wisbech Port spokesperson told the Wisbech Standard: “Yesterday evening the Harbour Authority manoeuvred the Baltic Arrow with the assistance of the Fenlander [tugboat] and a tug that was drafted in from Kings Lynn.
