An Australian diver came to the aid of a shark that had gotten pinned by a fishing line near Rye Pier, Victoria, on Friday, February 28.Jules Casey, who frequently posts underwater footage to her OneBreathDiver Instagram account, said that while she was diving with her friend Emily, she noticed a Port Jackson shark that had gotten pinned to the pier by a fishing line.Casey said that she flipping the shark over to stop it from wriggling, then discovered a hook in its tail, which she removed.“Then I discovered it had also swallowed another hook,” Casey said. “This left me with no other option but to cut the line as close to the mouth as possible.
