A Florida woman was shocked to find an unexpected visitor in her Venice home on March 28, when she heard a noise and found an alligator in her kitchen.Photos taken by Mary Hollenback show the alligator in between the refrigerator and kitchen island. Hollenback’s video shows the beast being carried away by Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputies and agents from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.“I was watching TV in my living room when I heard the front door rattle. By the time I got near the door, I realized there was an alligator in my house. I called 911 from the safety of my lanai. It took two sheriff’s deputies and three officers from Florida Fish and Wildlife to extract the gator from my kitchen,” Hollenback told Storyful.According to local station WFLA, the gator measured 7 feet 11 inches.
