Gaza Refugee Camps Grow as People Flee Israeli Bombardments

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said camps for internally displaced people (IDPs) in Gaza continued to grow on Friday, October 20, with 16,000 people arriving within 24 hours at various sites operated by the UNRWA.“Nearly 384,200 internally displaced people (IDPs) are sheltering in 90 UNRWA shelters in the Middle, Khan Yunis and Rafah areas of the Gaza Strip,” the UN agency said.This footage from Mohamed el Saife shows adults and children at a camp in Khan Yunis, where the UNRWA said about 17,000 IDPs were sheltering.
