Newly released satellite imagery shows the Palisades Fire burning in the area of Mandeville Canyon on Saturday, June 11.The images collected by technology company Maxar show thick plumes of smoke in the mountains.“Active fires are burning south of the Encino Reservoir and multiple fire crews, firefighting aircraft and helicopters can be seen attempting to contain the spread of the fires,” Maxar said.The Palisades Fire had burned 23,654 acres and was 11% contained as of Saturday evening, according to Cal Fire.See below for screenshots from the video.
