A winter storm brought snow to New York City on Tuesday, January 16, marking the end of an almost two-year streak without an inch of snow in Central Park.The National Weather Service said it recorded 1.4 inches of snow in Central Park overnight, the first time in 701 days that the park recorded more than an inch of snow. “The streak has ended!” the weather service wrote on Twitter.The snow created slick and icy conditions for the morning commute on Tuesday.
