Frigid air blasted parts of Montana on Thursday, January 11, with temperatures in some areas falling
below zero, according to the National Weather Service (

NWS said the Flathead Valley, Kalispell, and its vicinity were experiencing heavy snow, winds up to 55 mph, and wind chills as low as -35 degrees Fahrenheit by noon on Thursday.A source from Batavia posted this footage, reporting that his thermometer read -2 F.“It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood,” he joked on X.The bitter conditions were expected to continue through Thursday evening, according to the
