Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Warsaw on Wednesday, April 5, to meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda, his first trip to Poland since Russia’s full-scale invasion more than a year earlier.Zelensky and his wife, Olena Zelenska, were greeted by Duda and first lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda at Warsaw Castle to a band playing the Ukrainian and Polish national anthems.The Ukrainian leader
visited Poland at Duda’s invitation, and the two were
expected to discuss security and economic relations.Poland has been a staunch ally of Kyiv since Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022. While in the country, Zelensky is expected to meet Ukrainian refugees living in Warsaw.Zelensky previously made an official
